Representatives of the Dene First Nations in Canada are meeting to plan the first international gathering of all Dene people.

The Tsuu T'ina First Nation in Calgary is hosting the three-day planning session, which began yesterday. Delegates hope to hold the first union of Dene people to discuss health, education, social and other issues.
