The Paiute Tribe of Utah broke ground on Tuesday on a monument to tribal members who have served in the U.S. military.

The memorial will be located in Cedar City. Tribal leaders and members blessed the site in a Veterans Day ceremony.

The Paiute Tribe in Utah has five bands.
