Schwarzenegger picks card club adviser for post

A liberal Democrat with ties to card clubs that compete with tribal casinos has been chosen as a senior adviser by California Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger (R).

Bonnie Reiss sat on the board of directors for Pinnacle Entertainment, which owns card clubs. The clubs say they are losing money to tribes, which can offer a wider set of games.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Reiss will handle entertainment issue sand children's programs.
