Task force to address Indian-Hispanic issues

A task force has been created to address issues facing the Indian and Hispanic communities in Carson City, Nevada. Indian parents complained that their children were unfairly targeted after a fight between Indian and Hispanic students at Carson High School. The Indian students said they were asked about gang activity. The task force will look at several issues, including racial attitudes, high school security, gangs, school hiring practices and curriculum diversity. Get the Story:
