Kan. Indians want historical markers changed

An Indian organization in Kansas wants state officials to eliminate bias in historical markers.

The Wetlands Preservation Organization says the markers portray Indians as the aggressors. The markers never note massacres of Indians, the group says.

The wants the state to work with the Haskell Indian Nations University to ensure historical accuracy.
