Stillaguamish members circulate recall petition
Tuesday, November 4, 2003

Members of the Stillaguamish Tribe of Washington are circulating a recall petition against the entire tribal council.

The petition accuses tribal leaders of "neglect of duties and gross misconduct," according to The Everett Herald. Members are not happy with the tribe's plans for a casino or the operation of a smokeshop on tribal land.

Petition organizers say they only need 3 signatures to move forward with the recall.
