Thomas re-elected chairman of Mashantucket Tribe

Michael Thomas was re-elected as chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut on Sunday.

Thomas, incumbent Charlene Jones and newcomer Rodney Butler were the top three vote-getters in the election. The council then chose Thomas as its chairman.

Incumbent Fatima Dames was ousted.
