Nisga'a communities without power, road access
Wednesday, October 29, 2003

Two Nisga'a Nation communities in northwestern British Columbia are without power and remain cut off from outside access due to flooding.

Roads to Kincolith and Greenville have washed out, making it impossible for work crews and equipment to reach the villages. The only access is by boat.

The flooding threat has subsided, but it could be days before the roads are restored.
