Seneca Nation launches ad campaign against taxes

The Seneca Nation of New York launched an television, radio, newspaper and Internet campaign on Monday against plans by the state to tax gas and cigarette sales.

The theme of the campaign is "Break a treaty, break the law." The tribe says the tax plan will hurt business, eliminate jobs and is "unethical, unfair and unconstitutional."

The state plans to collect the taxes starting December 1.
