Wyo. tribes working with state on child welfare study

The state of Wyoming has signed an agreement with the Northern Arapaho Tribe to fund studies of the child welfare system on the Wind River Reservation.

The state is finalizing an agreement with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, which also resides on the reservation. The studies will enable the tribes to undergo an assessment of their child protection and delinquency programs.
