Mescalero Apache Nation approves $200M in bonds

The tribal council of the Mescalero Apache Nation of New Mexico approved a $200 million bond package, The Albuquerque Journal reports.

The money is needed to complete construction of a new casino and hotel resort. Some tribal council members were upset with the way the deal was presented, and they voted to fire the tribe's attorney.
