Six related tribes met on the Fort McDowell Reservation for the fifth annual Gathering of the Pai Festival.

Held over three days, the festival drew elders and members of the Hualapai, Havasupai, Yavapai-Apache, Yavapai-Prescott and Pai Pai tribes. The tribes are related by language and culture. The Pai Pai Tribe came all the way from Baja Mexico.
