Nev. tribe touts benefits of after school programs

Every dollar spent on on after-school programs saves $4 elsewhere, says the coordinator for the Pyramid Lake Tribe's after-school centers.

Since most juvenile crimes occur between school dismissal and dusk, more after-school programs are needed, according to Carolyn Harry. The tribe is part of the national Afterschool Alliance.
