Bison hunt brings students to Crow Reservation
Monday, September 29, 2003

For seven years, the Native American Student Services at the University of Northern Colorado has been bringing students to the Crow Reservation in Montana.

The trip is billed as a cross-cultural exchange. Students get to learn about reservation life and Crow tribal members get to learn more about the university.

The three-day event is capped off with a buffalo hunt. Students are encouraged to participate in the hunt and butchering.
