Sen. Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) and South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds (R) will host the "Gathering and Healing of Nations" conference October 6.

The conference will focus on issues facing Indian and non-Indian communities in the state. It is part of an ongoing reconciliation effort by state leaders.
