More cases of West Nile Virus found on reservation

Four more horses have tested positive for the West Nile Virus on the Navajo Nation, bringing the number of confirmed cases on the reservation to seven.

The tribe vaccinated 5,000 horses against the virus, which is almost always deadly to horses. A reported 50,000 wild horses on the reservation remain untouched.

No human cases of the virus have been reported on the reservation.
