Appeals court nominee withdraws from consideration
Friday, September 5, 2003

Miguel Estrada was blocked repeatedly by Democrats who said they did not know enough of his record to make a decision. He was nominated to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, which oversees the Cobell Indian trust fund case and other Indian law cases.
