Jicarilla Apache Nation gets $1M housing grant

The Jicarilla Apache Nation of New Mexico has received a $1 million grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The money will go to modernization and improvement of low-income housing on the reservation.

The funds were awarded under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act (NAHASDA).
