N.B. government cutting moose hunts for First Nations

The New Brunswick provincial government wants to limit moose hunts for 15 First Nations.

The government says the dwindling moose population is forcing the cuts. But Native leaders say limiting each First Nation to just 50 moose per year is unrealistic.

The government also wants to cut down the length of the year-long Native hunt.
