Fire crews and support staff on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana are benefiting from a busy fire season.

As of last week, the crews and staff earned more than $3 million this year, The Great Falls Tribune reports. That's more than the amount made in 2001 and 2002.

On the Fort Belknap Reservation, fire crews have earned more than $1.4 million.
