Pacific N.W. tribal canoe trip wrapping up

Canoeists from more than 40 tribes in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, Canada, are participating in the annual Paddle Journey.

The tribal crews originated in parts of Washington and British Columbia in mid- to late-June. So far, they have visited more than a dozen reservations on their route to the Tulalip Reservation in Washington.

The crews will arrive at Tulalip next Monday for a celebration.
