First Nation closes road and charges $100 toll

The Wabaseemoong First Nation is charging a $100 toll to cross a road through the reserve. Wabaseemoong officials shut down the road to draw attention to social and economic problems on the reserve. They say the federal government has failed to live up to the terms of a 1980s agreement. Get the Story:
