The Navajo Nation will be hit by the West Nile virus within two weeks, a tribal veterinarian says.

Scott Bender cited recently confirmed cases in nearby Colorado. But he said the Navajo Nation council's investment, made last summer, of $131,400 for West Nile vaccines will help protect 5,000 horses.
