Wash. tribes appeal state decision to sell water

The Muckleshoot Tribe and the Puyallup Tribe are challenging a decision by a Washington state agency to sell water from the White River.

The tribes, joined by two cities in the appeal, say the Department of Ecology used flawed reasoning and ignored the environmental impacts. The White River is home to endangered chinook salmon.
