Boy from Seminole Tribe laid to rest amid child abuse claims

A three-year-old boy from the Seminole Tribe of Florida was laid to rest on Sunday after he was found dead in his father's home.

Authorities say Ahizya Osceola died under suspicious circumstances on Thursday. His parents, Nelson Drew Osceola and Analiz Rodezno Osceola, have previously been under state investigation for child abuse and neglect, according to news reports.

The investigation into Ahizya's death is ongoing. In the meantime, two of his siblings have been placed in the care of a relative.

Ahizya was buried on the Big Cypress Reservation, according to news reports.
