Barry Snyder elected as president of Seneca Nation for fifth time





Barry Snyder Sr., won election as president of the Seneca Nation of New York.

Snyder defeated Richard Nephew, the chairman of the tribal council, for the post, the Associated Press reported. This will be Snyder's fifth term as president.

The tribal constitution does not allow consecutive terms.
