Federal agents raided at least two smokeshops in Northwest





Agents from the Internal Revenue Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives raided at least two Indian-owned smokeshops on Wednesday, according to news reports.

The Fightin’ Creek Smoke Shop was among those targeted. It's owned by a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe of Idaho.

The Indian Country shop in Washington was also raided. It's located on the Puyallup Reservation.

Authorities aren't commenting on the raids. State agents participated in the Washington raid.
