Wyoming county offers fire truck for sweat lodge ceremonies

Officials in Natrona County, Wyoming, are providing a fire truck for a weekly sweat lodge ceremony.

The county has imposed a fire ban but officials agreed to park a truck every Sunday at the home of Steve Weber, who oversees the ceremony. He agreed to be liable for any fire that might break out.

"My biggest fear -- if we miss even one ceremony, we're going to have problems," Weber said at a county commission meeting, The Casper Star-Tribune reported.

Weber has been conducting ceremonies for former inmates and other people for 18 years.
