BIA reports progress on fire within Crow Reservation boundaries

The Bureau of Indian Affairs said a fire on the Crow Reservation in Montana has been 30 percent contained.

The Wild Horse Ridge Fire has burned 1,722 acres on the reservation. Crews have been hindered somewhat by rocky terrain, the BIA said.

The Teepee Pole Fire is also burning on the reservation. It's consumed about 10 acres at a high elevation, the BIA said.
