Seminole Nation acquires historic property for undisclosed price





The Seminole Nation has agreed to acquire the historic Grisso Mansion for an undisclosed price, The Oklahoman reports.

The tribe is looking to use the 12,000-square-foot home and 12-acre estate as a tourist attraction and economic development venture. It's the most famous landmark in Seminole, the paper said.

The property was to be auctioned today but the tribe and its owners reached a purchase agreement.
