BIA hosting consultation sessions for Indian Reservation Roads

The Bureau of Indian Affairs is hosting consultation sessions on the Indian Reservation Roads program.

The sessions begin June 5 in Anchorage, Alaska, and continue throughout the month of June. The last one takes place June 28 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.

One topic of discussion will affect the IRR funding formula. Tribes in states like Oklahoma, where there are no designated reservations, could receive less money compared to tribes in western states.
