FBI targeting former Mashantucket Pequot chair, two others

The FBI has issued "target letters" to three members of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut, The New London Day reports.

Former chairman Michael Thomas is one of the targets. A source told the paper that he is being investigated for using a corporate credit card for personal purchases.

Thomas' brother, Steven Thomas, who currently serves as treasurer, is also a target, the paper said. He is being investigated in connection with a "no-show" job, the source said, as is Stewart Sebastian, a brother of former chairman Kenny Reels.

The Thomas brothers recently filed for bankruptcy. Michael Thomas reportedly listed nearly $10.3 million in liabilities while his brother owed nearly $358,000, the Day reported.
