Non-Indians accused Sauk Suiattle Tribe of discrimination

Eight former employees are suing the Sauk-Suiattle Tribe of Washington.

The employees say they were fired because they are not Indian. "There had been talk for some time that certain members of the tribe wanted to remove the white people," plaintiff Judy Pendergrass told Northwest Cable News.

According to news reports, the tribe fired 11 of its 64 employees last June.
