Pala Band removes an additional 154 people from its rolls

The Pala Band of Mission Indians of California removed another 154 people from the rolls, The North County Times reports.

The tribe wouldn't say why the people were removed. But it appears they were disenrolled for lacking 1/16th Pala blood.

The tribe is now down to 764 members, the paper reporter.
