Santa Clara Pueblo man killed after being hit by several cars





A man from Santa Clara Pueblo in New Mexico was killed after he was struck by several vehicles, including one driven by Secretary of State Dianna Duran.

Eric Broncho, 46, was walking in the traffic lane of a highway on Thursday night. Authorities said six or seven cars struck him though no one will face charges.

It's unknown why Broncho was walking on the highway. Toxicology tests will take a couple of weeks.

The incident took place near Santa Fe, off the reservation. Duran was on her way home and called police after she realized she struck someone.
