Cherokee Nation chief announces business board nominees

Cherokee Nation Chief Bill John Baker nominated five people to serve on the board of Cherokee Nation Businesses, the tribe's economic development arm.
Baker nominated Tommye Sue Wright, Bob Berry, Rex Starr, Brent Taylor, and Michael Watkins. Wright, if approved, would be the first woman to sit on the board.
The nominations are subject to approval by the tribal council.
