Family stages protest after Pit River man fatally shot by officers

Members of the Pit River Tribe kept vigil after one of their own was fatally shot by police officers in Redding, California.

Kenny Wilson, who was in his 40s, reportedly fled when he was being served with an outstanding arrest warrant. He was shot by three officers after he reportedly pulled a gun on them.

"My cousin was very troubled, not always a good person, but he didn't deserve to die like that," Abbie Wilson told aNewsCafe.com.

Tribal members held a cleansing ceremony at the site of the shooting.
