Chickasaw Nation opens clinic to serve non-member employees

The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma has opened a new clinic to serve employees who are not tribal members.

Sovereign Medical Solutions is open to employees who aren't eligible for the Indian Health Service. Dependents of non-Indian employees can also go to the clinic.

“In the past few years, as the Nation's employment numbers have grown, we have noticed an increasing need for primary care health services for our non-native employees and their dependents,” Chris Anoatubby, the chief medical solutions officer for the commerce division of the Chickasaw Nation, said in a press release, The Oklahoman reported.
