"At 6:30 Sunday morning, Yvette Taylor learned her sister, Crystal Canby, had died in a rollover crash in northeast Nebraska.

Less than four hours later, Taylor gave birth to a baby girl, Yasmyn, at Saint Elizabeth Regional Medical Center.

As she prepared to go home with her baby Monday, Taylor also worked with her family to prepare her sister's funeral service.

"We're all very much in shock," the Lincoln woman said. "She was pretty outgoing. … She was very much into her kids."

Canby, also of Lincoln, died in the traffic accident just south of Santee early Sunday. Authorities said Sonny Redowl over-corrected after the van he was driving dropped off the side of the road and crossed the highway, then rolled several times in the shoulder."
