Poarch Creeks donate $25K for victims of Alabama tornado





The Poarch Band of Creek Indians donated $25,000 for tornado recovery efforts in Calhoun County, Alabama.

The money went the Webster’s Chapel Tornado Relief Organization. It's one of $500,000 in donations that the tribe is making across the state to help tornado victims.

Tribal Secretary David Gehman and Ron Sparks, the director of the Alabama Office of Rural Development, presented the check on Tuesday.
