Salish and Kootenai Tribes issue warning about flooding

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of Montana are warning people about flooding.

The mountain snowpack is at near-record levels. The tribe is worried this will lead to flooding and avalanches.

"We are entering the high water period for the season," tribal hydrologist Seth Makepeace told KPAX.
