BIA officer who died while on duty added to Utah's memorial

Joshua Yazzie, a Bureau of Indian Affairs officer who died while on duty, was added to the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial on Thursday.

Yazzie, 37, was responding to a call on the Uintah and Ouray Reservation when his vehicle rolled down an embankment on June 7, 2010. He was one of three officers who died on duty in Utah in the past year.

"It’s touching to know that all these people are here for my brother, my big brother," sister Camille Yazzie said at the ceremony, The Salt Lake Tribune reported "It’s overwhelming."
