Gathering of Nations opens with Miss Indian World contest

The 29th annual Gathering of Nations, the largest powwow in the United States, kicks off tonight in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This year's event is back at The Pit. Organizers are hoping for bigger crowds -- more than 100,000 people are expected over the weekend for the powwow and arts fair.
Tonight, the festivities begin with the Miss Indian World pageant. The winner will be crowned on Saturday night.
