The project will include 12 duplex houses and an eight-unit apartment building. Chairman Kevin Leecy said the project will alleviate homelessness on the reservation and provide easy access to jobs and other services.

“We’ve strategically located this near employment and health services,” Leecy told St. Louis County Board, The Duluth News Tribune reported. . “Ending homelessness is not just building a home. It’s having a job and getting support.”
