Miami University orders companies to stop using 'Redskin' logo

Miami University in Ohio has ordered companies to stop selling merchandise with the "Redskin" logo.

The school stopped using the name in 1997 but some companies were still allowed to use the logo. The policy changed this year.

"It really is time to have RedHawk traditions," Dionn Tron, the associate vice president for university communications, told The Oxford Press, referring to the school's new logo.
