Another Saginaw Chippewa man charged with assault using shoes

A member of the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan was charged for using his shoes as a dangerous weapon, the second incident of its kind on the reservation.

Jonathon M. Pego was indicted on one count of assault. He allegedly pulled his girlfriend to the ground and repeatedly kicked her with his shoes on December 28, 2010.

Earlier in December, Roland J. Jackson was charged with assault resulting in substantial bodily injury after he allegedly knocked his girlfriend to the ground and stomped on her face with his shoes, The Bay City Times reported.
