Vice chairman of Lummi Nation resigns after less than two months

The Lummi Nation of Washington has a new vice chairman after the resignation of Bernie Thomas.

Thomas was chosen for the post in November 2010. But he resigned due to concerns about his full-time job as the tribe's education director, The Bellingham Herald reported.

Candice Wilson is now serving as vice chairman.
