Indian lawmakers lose elections on three reservations in Montana
An anti-incumbent electorate led to the ouster of two Indian lawmakers in Montana while another Indian candidate lost in an open seat.

Rep. Justin David Roundstone (D) lost to Republican Sterling Small. The district includes the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.

Rep. Frosty Calf Boss Ribs (D) lost to The district includes parts of the Flathead Reservation and the Blackfeet Reservation.

In the open seat, Democrat Cheryl Lynn Little Dog lost to Republican Lila Walter Evans. The district includes parts of the Blackfeet Reservation.

One Indian incumbent beat the odds. Rep. Carolyn Pease-Lopez (D) defeated Republican Bill Joseph.
