Tex Hall wins chairmanship of Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation
Tex Hall has been elected as chairman of the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation of North Dakota.

Hall defeated incumbent Marcus Levings for the post. The unofficial tally was 1,262 votes for Hall and 1,041 votes for Levings.

This will be Hall's third term as chairman. He had been defeated by Levings in 2006.
