Officer among nine charged with attack at home on First Nation
Nine people, including a police officer, have been charged in connection with an attack at a home on the Hollow Water First Nation in Manitoba.

Authorities said seven men and two women entered a home on the reserve and attacked the occupants with baseball bats and sticks. One victim's finger was partially severed and the missing portion was found by police who responded to the scene.

The officer who has been charged works for the Dakota Ojibway Police Service.
